Its 3.6-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine was teamed up with a pair of KKK turbochargers for a most impressive output of 450hp, which the 911 GT2 parlayed via a 6-speed transmission into some astounding numbers: a 0-100km\/h time of 3.9 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 300km\/h. Aluminum front hood and door panels contributed to a seriously light car, while the front spoiler was designed to contribute to brake cooling; screw-fixed overfenders, a rear wing with air ducts and a spartan roll cage-equipped interior meant the car really looked the part, too.
