The first prototype, constructed by a Kawasaki company under the supervision of Takeo Doi, was completed in March 1935, and in September of the same year the Ki-10 was ordered into production as the Type 95 Fighter.\u003cbr id=\"isPasted\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFrom November 1937 to December 1938 production switched to the modified version, the Ki-10-II which had an increased wingspan and length.
